| _Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief Operation |
 | The American Red Cross of Summit and Portage Counties can accept gifts designated to the ongoing response to the earthquakes in Haiti, but asks that donors consider making a gift directly to the International Response Fund. Donors can help the victims of countless crises around the world each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross International Response Fund, which will provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need. Donations to the International Response Fund can be sent to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013 or made by phone at 1-800-REDCROSS or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish). | Chilean Earthquake Relief |
| In a response to a request for international assistance from the Chilean Red Cross on March 2, the American Red Cross is now accepting financial donations specifically for relief and recovery efforts in Chile following the 8.8 magnitude earthquake which occured on February 27. The Red Cross is accepting Chile-designated donations through its Web site at www.redcross.org, through calls to 1-800-REDCROSS, and by texting “CHILE” to 90999 to make a $10 donation (which appears as a $10 fee on the individual’s phone bill).
The American Red Cross of Summit and Portage Counties can also accept gifts designated specifically for Chile, but asks that donors consider making a gift directly to the International Response Fund.
